How do you choose a Wedding Planner for a destination wedding with the ceremony on an island beach followed with a reception on a historic square. And a horse drawn carriage for the bride and groom with historic trolleys for the wedding party to really make this a special occasion.
There were many to be found, but choosing is the hardest part. The right one makes all the difference for failure or success. Most people will agree that 'WORD OF MOUTH" is the best way. Well, here's the word….from ....Romantic Weddings of Savannah, NANCY HILLIS IS #1..THE BEST!!!!!
The bride, Jenny made appointments to interview various prospects..back in October '07. They met Nancy to plan a glorious June '08 wedding and the rest is history. Nancymade herself available to plan for two days, traveling from one venue to another. She was enthusiastic, professional, familiar with the area, listening to wishes, ideas and concerns, flexible, and , of course, worked within the budget……all the while …smiling and promising to "make it beautiful".
During the next several months, plans would change…. forgeting to add something, or decideding not to include something , or just totally change the details. But, Nancy never changed. There were times that threw her curve balls, but she politely, efficiently, willingly, and calmly "soothed the stress" moving forward with her attention to detail and experience. Regardless of initial indecision, she came up with the exact menu that was requested.
When Jenny asked " Nancy , how do you put up with all the crazy brides"?..... Nancy responded, "One at a time". From florist, to caterers, to bakers, to photographers, to musicians, to "set-up" helpers, Nancy has an outstanding crew of vendors and assistants. She has high expectations from them, and they deliver superbly!!
Nancy has become a good friend… will keep in touch…who knows, she may plan another event…renewal vows! Nancy also kept her promise of "beautiful"…. romantic beach ceremony on Tybee Island,
a romantic carriage ride,
and gorgeous reception at a Romantic Square in Savannah .
Everything was glorious!!!!....Thank you very much, Nancy and Romantic Weddings of Savannah !!! Everybody loves you!
